Light Therapy
Light Therapy, also known as Bright Light Therapy or Phototherapy, involves the use of a bright light box placed near and shining on a person for several hours a day. This is thought to mimic the sunlight many of us don’t get as we work indoors. This therapy is often used to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) but may also improve sleep. A person can use this light while reading at home or working at a desk.
